Show Your Pride
Tell Me About It!
What shows your pride wherever you drive, is more permanent than a bumper sticker, and has more visibility than a window decal? A Franklin & Marshall College license plate. The Office of Alumni Relations is offering, through the Maryland Motor Vehicles Administration (MVA), a Franklin & Marshall College Maryland auto license plate.
If you are the registered owner of a vehicle in Maryland, have a Maryland driver’s license, and are a current student, alumnus or alumna, parent, friend, or staff member of F&M, then you can now apply for a Franklin & Marshall plate. (It doesn’t matter where you are in your registration cycle). As you can see, the Franklin & Marshall name appears across the bottom of the plate and Ben Franklin and John Marshall appear on the left side of the plate.
If interested, please follow the instructions below, and once your order is received by the College, your plate will be individually manufactured and mailed to you approximately 8–10 weeks from the receipt of the application.

There Are Always Details...
You can get a Franklin & Marshall plate only through the College, not from a MVA location. Do not send your application to MVA; doing so will delay delivery of your license plate.
You may transfer your Franklin & Marshall plate to a new vehicle.
Your Franklin & Marshall plate cannot be personalized.
You will not receive a refund if you cancel your request after the order is placed.
You cannot receive a specific plate number: numbers are issued in sequence as orders are processed. We regret the inconvenience.
Special organization plates are restricted to passenger vehicles, trucks, and motor homes with a registered gross weight of not more than 9,000 pounds.
You cannot get plates for motorcycles and trailers, as they do not qualify for special organization registration plates.
