Your Invitation to Fall Semester Speaker Dinners and Programs

The Office of Student and Post-Graduate Development (OSPGD) engaged more than 73 percent of Franklin & Marshall's student body last year. This year, they hope faculty and professonal staff will participate in the  workshop and dinner programs to prepare the students for post-graduate success.

Global War: World War I in Film Series

In honor of the centenary of the First World War, the College Houses present, "Global War: World War I in Film," featuring five films from five countries showing at five College Houses (Bonchek, Brooks, Ware, New, Weis) this fall. A post-screening discussion will take place after each film.

WWI Centennial: Vera Brittain Reading Group

As part of Franklin & Marshall's commemoration of the First World War, a reading group, sponsored by the International Studies Program, will meet four times this fall in the Philadelphia Alumni Writers House's to discuss Vera Brittain's 1933 book, "Testament of Youth." Time and dates are:  4:45-6 p.m. September 18, October 23, November 13 & December 11.

Wednesday Night Baseball Film Series This Fall

Please join us this fall semester for a few of Hollywood's great baseball films in the Great Room at Ware College House. All screenings are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, starting September 17 and running through December 3. Popcorn provided.

Rape Aggression Defense Classes Offered This Fall

The Department of Public Safety is conducting Rape Aggression Defense class this September. The free 12-hour course is self-defense training for women.
