In the event of severe weather, announcements regarding a change to normal College hours of operation will be made as follows:
Weather Line: The Department of Public Safety maintains an emergency weather phone line which you may call to access up-to-date information about changes to normal hours of operation, including delays and closings. The number is (717) 291-4003. Every effort will be made to update the recorded message during the early morning hours.
F&M Website: Announcements regarding delays and cancellations will also be posted at http://www.fandm.edu/ .
FPS email: An email will generally be sent out in addition to the above notification methods.
Employees who are concerned with missing work hours when there is severe weather are encouraged to discuss the possibility of taking work home in advance with their supervisor.
