Students, faculty, and staff gathered for lunch in the Great Room of Bonchek College House Tuesday, March 18,  to wish Angel Lopez well as he prepares to retire. Angel has served as a custodian in the halls of South Benjamin Franklin for 17 years and will be greatly missed. His warm smile and conscientious care of the facility and its residents have made a lasting impression on those who live and work in South Ben. According to Dan Lewis, Director of Housekeeping and College House Facilities, Angel has vacuumed more than 900 acres of carpet during his years of service to Franklin & Marshall College. In the words of one student, “You are an essential figure in Bonchek, never failing to greet everyone with a smile. Angel, you will surely be missed! ¡Feliz retiro!”
