College Streamlines Haiti Donations

F&M Project Haiti, a coalition of Franklin & Marshall students committed to supporting earthquake relief efforts in Haiti, continues to raise funds for disaster relief in conjunction with the Ware Institute for Civic Engagement, the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and Office of the President.

To streamline the College's efforts, it is now possible for people to donate to F&M Project Haiti on the F&M Web site.

A committee of students, faculty and professional staff established by the Ware Institute will select the organizations that will receive the funds.

In addition, the College will make an appropriate matching contribution.

More than 60 people attended a candlelight vigil on Hartman Green on Jan. 21 to remember victims of the disaster.
