Earth Science Night Offers Evening of Family Fun

On Oct. 23, Franklin & Marshall's Department of Earth and Environment invites the community to the department's eighth annual Family Earth Science Night.

The free, two-hour event begins at 6:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Hackman Science Building. Children ages 4-11 will get hands-on lessons in preparing fossils, identifying dinosaurs, making volcanoes erupt, creating earthquakes and floods and restoring streams. The event will include cookies and punch.
