Members of the Fum Follies Working Group recently presented Milagro House with a $1,156 donation — the proceeds from the 2008 edition of Fum Follies.

Milagro House, located at the corner of College Avenue and West Chestnut Street in Lancaster city, is a long-term, education-based program committed to restoring the lives of homeless women and children.

In the photo are (from left to right): Kate Snider ’99, Schnader House prefect; David Stameshkin, Bonchek House prefect; Kelly Haas ’04, director of College Programs; Milagro House Executive Director Polly Lauer; Tom Mahoney, network manager; Annalisa Crannell, Bonchek House don; and Roger Godin, Brooks House prefect.

Fum Follies is an annual musical comedy presented by faculty and staff. Some 150 faculty members, staff and relatives take part in the show. The theme revolves around life at Franklin & Marshall College. The original production consists of familiar show tunes and popular songs “tweaked slightly to move the plot along,” said David Stameshkin, associate dean and Bonchek House prefect, who has organized the follies since it began in 1985.

This year’s edition, based on the HBO series Sex in the City, will be titled Fum and the City and will be performed on April 26 at 8 p.m. and April 29 at 7 and 9 p.m.

Casting Call!

Everyone is welcomed to participate in the production. For more information, contact David Stameshkin at david.stameshkin@fandm.edu.
