Submitted by Susan Dicklitch, Associate Dean of the College, Director of The Ware Institute for Civic Engagement and Professor of Government

The Ware Institute for Civic Engagement is thrilled to introduce Julie Rhoads as the new Assistant Director of the Ware Institute and Program Director of Squash A.C.E.S., replacing Ryan McGonigle.

Julie has a Masters of Social Work from Millersville University. She is a licensed social worker in Pennsylvania.

Julie has a wealth of experience working with community partners in Lancaster and the School District of Lancaster. Most recently, she worked at the Community Services Group and before that with the Boys and Girls Club of Lancaster at Reynolds Middle School as a Community School Director.

A long-time resident of Lancaster County, she enjoys traveling, sports and spending time with her family, including her bull mastiff puppy, Remmy. She is looking forward to learning to play squash and staying connected to the School District of Lancaster.

Please join me in welcoming Julie to the F&M Community.
