Submitted by Bonnie Bosso, Production and PR Manager, TDF

Here is a list of our Theatre, Dance and Film offerings for this fall. We hope you will be able to incorporate some of these events into your semester...or at the least, you might encourage your students, and your friends, to attend!

THEATRE

SPRING AWAKENING
Directed by Kati Donovan
Schnader Theatre, Roschel Performing Arts Center
Oct 24-27

Adapted from Frank Wedekind's controversial play, this rock musical explores the transition a young person makes from innocence to experience in an unforgiving world. Features students from all parts of the campus! Spring Awakening won 8 Tony Awards including "Best Musical", and was named "Best Musical of the Year" by the New York Times.

[NOTE: On the Tony list from the original production was Lancaster's own Jonathan Groff, who was nominated for "Best Leading Actor in a Musical" for his work on this show.]

NEXT SEMESTER'S SHOWS HAVE BEEN CHOSEN!

Sincerity Forever in February, and Angels in America: Part I Millennium Approaches in April. More info on these shows is forthcoming.
