Ware Institute Hosts Fall Blood Drive

The Ware Institute for Civic Engagement will hold its fall blood drive Oct. 9 in the Steinman College Center.

Members of the College community who wish to donate blood may stop by Booth Ferris on the second floor of Steinman that day between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. The drive benefits the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank.

"We always have a great turnout for campus blood drives," says Kim Dustman '10, an intern focusing on public health at the Ware Institute. "Students understand how important it is to give blood and are happy to spend a few minutes of their day to help save a life. Participating is also a great way to show you care about the Lancaster community."

Anyone wishing to donate may either stop by Booth Ferris on the day of the blood drive or contact Dustman to make an appointment at 291-4164 or kimberly.dustman@fandm.edu.
