Will Lyons Lecture is Monday, March 3

The Economics Department is pleased to invite you to the annual Will Lyons Lecture at 7 p.m., Monday, March 3.  Our speaker this year is Robert Prasch, Professor of Economics at Middlebury College. The topic: "Bush, Obama & The Bankers: U.S. Economic Policy Since the Crash." In his talk Professor Prasch will critically evaluate what has been an essentially bi-partisan approach to resolving the financial crisis, the collapse of housing prices, corruption within the mortgage industry, the reregulation of finance, and the ongoing failure of the U.S. economy to generate sufficient employment. This promises to be an exciting lecture, so please encourage your students to attend as well.
