Student Health Insurance

Franklin & Marshall has a mandatory student health insurance policy for all full‐time undergraduate students. This policy requires all full‐time students to maintain health insurance coverage that covers them everyday of their higher education career.

If your private health insurance provides coverage while you are attending school in Lancaster, PA, you may waive the insurance. If you do not have private health insurance or your insurance does not provide comparable coverage, in Lancaster, PA, you must enroll in the school sponsored plan. In addition to this message, information about waiving/enrolling has also been mailed to your home. If you have already completed the waiver/enrollment process for 2013­‐2014, no further action is required.

Waiver/Enrollment Instructions­‐your response is required by 8/1/2013. Go to www.hulseqm.com/myinsurance and follow the instructions to Enroll or Waive.

ID: The last name first initial of the student (should be entered without spaces) Example: Enter John Smith as smithj
Password: Last 5 digits of the F&M Student ID Number

PLEASE PRINT YOUR CONFIRMATION AT THE END OF THE WEB PROCESS AND RETAIN FOR YOUR RECORDS.

If you do not respond with waiver information, your F&M student account will be charged for the cost of the insurance and you will be automatically enrolled in the student health insurance at the end of the open enrollment period (9/30/13). Requests to waive after this date may not be accepted and will incur a financial penalty of no less than $82.00. If you are enrolling, please visit the website to complete the enrollment process and expedite the issuance of your medical card.
