Get Involved
Careers Services has many opportunities for parents and alumni to engage with our office and current students. From speaking to students one-on-one about your professional experiences and life after college journey, to offering internships or jobs to students and alum or participating in one of our formal programs, your interactions are invaluable.
Be a Career Services Partner
Serve as part of our Career Network and have students referred to you directly if they want to learn more about your career field. Career Services Partners provide insight into hiring processes and culture, advice on self presentation, and guidance on possible career paths. You can either reach out to our office directly, or register and create an account in F&MConnect.
Speak at a Career Services Program
We invite you to attend career services events and share your industry and professional knowledge. We have opportunities on a monthly basis through the Life After College Success program and also offer topic specific workshops and events at which parents or alum can participate.
Participate in Career Forums & Other On-Campus Events
Each year, our office presents a number of programs including industry-specific panels, networking receptions, and more. Alumni and parent presence greatly enhances these events--we would love to see you there!
