The Harrisburg Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is again announcing two scholarships to be awarded for the Fall 2013 term. Criteria are described below.
Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $2,500
Number of Awards: 1
Criteria:
1. Enrolled as a full-time student in both the spring and fall 2013 terms
2. Female student having completed at least 60 credits toward a Bachelor’s degree by the end of May 2013
3. Attend an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania
4. Permanent resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County
5. Demonstrate academic achievement with at least a 3.4 GPA
6. Demonstrate financial need
Martha M. Dohner Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Number of Awards: 1
Criteria:
1. Enrolled as a full-time student in both the spring and fall 2013 terms
2. Female student having completed at least 15 credits towards a Bachelor’s degree by the end of May 2013
3. Attend an accredited college or university located in Dauphin or Cumberland County
4. Permanent resident of Dauphin or Cumberland County
5. Demonstrate academic achievement with at least a 3.25 GPA
6. Demonstrate financial need
