The Franklin & Marshall College Panhellenic Council is open for extension, which is the formal process used to invite a new National Panhellenic Conference sorority to colonize.
Throughout the Week of March 23rd – March 30th Four NPC sororities will come to Franklin & Marshall College to present their organization to the F&M women’s community. Presentations are open to any female member of the campus and surrounding community. F&M female alumni, NPC sorority alumnae, current female students, women's sorority advisors, F&M faculty, F&M administrators invited to attend.
“The F&M Women’s Sorority Community is incredibly excited to finally be in the process of extension,” said Ariel Givner, Panhellenic Council outgoing President and Chair of the Extension Committee. “We are thrilled to have outstanding organizations present to our campus, and we are expecting strong feedback and support.”
Presentations will be in the Lisa Boncheck Adams Auditorium at 5:00 p.m. sharp. On Monday, March 24th, Delta Phi Epsilon will present. On Tuesday, March 25th, Sigma Sigma Sigma will present. On Wednesday, March 26th, Alpha Xi Delta will present. On Sunday, March 30th, Phi Mu will present.
Following presentations, each attendee will be asked to complete an online survey. The surveys will help the Panhellenic Council Extension Committee evaluate each sorority’s presentation in order to make a final decision. The final decision of the Panhellenic Council will be made known after April 5th, 2014.
“We are looking forward to this process and hope to see another NPC chapter provide a positive experience for F&M Women!” Givner said.
