Declaring Your Intent to Apply

During the Fall semester of the junior (or senior) year, students planning to apply for the upcoming application cycle are asked to begin the process of providing the Health Professions Office (HPO) with certain information.

The following guidelines review steps in the medical school admissions process (for specific deadline dates, please contact the HPO).


November

  • Attend First Applicant Meeting
  • Complete preliminary packet (include -- personal statement, inventory, and name of proposed evaluators)

January

  • Submit completed packet to the Health Professions Office
  • Attend Second Applicant Meeting

February - April

May

  • Attend Third Applicant Meeting
  • Recommendation letters due in Health Professions Office
