Hi all! I'm Sarah Rothman, and I'm a first year from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Even though I grew up in the Christmas City, I was always very involved in my synagogue, and am excited to be part of such a strong Jewish community at F&M. I am also a member of Dance Team, Dance Company, and the Ware Sustainability Committee. I'm considering a joint major between English and Environmental Science, but who knows? Hillel has been a wonderful and welcoming place for me during my first semester, and I look forward to being on board!

Amy Lakin '14
Hey everyone! My name is Amy Lakin and I am from Durham, North Carolina. I am currently a freshman with a potential major in Psychology. All throughout high school I have been involved in my synagogue and USY. I participated in and led many activities from teaching Hebrew School classes, to being the USY Membership/Kadima chair in my senior year. However, my interest in Judaism has not stopped at the bettering of my community. Last year I participated in the Nativ program, which is a year-long course in Israel that allows everyone to explore not only Israel but themselves as well. Now, as your Hospitality chair I intend to take all these experiences and use them to my advantage to provide everyone with the best year possible. Thank you so much and I look forward to spending time with you!

My name is Zoe Yellen, I am a Junior, a Comedy major (AWESOME, RIGHT?), and I intend to declare a minor in Judaic Studies. I have loved being involved with Hillel since my freshman year and I am very excited for my upcoming term as Education Chair. I love the Jewish community that Hillel provides for me while I am at school and I have been able to find other wonderful communities on and off of F&M's campus. I am currently our campus's intern for KOACH, the Conservative Jewish movement on college campuses, and this upcoming summer will be my FIFTH year working as a counselor at Camp Ramah in Nyack, a Conservative Jewish day camp. When I'm not at Hillel, I spend most of my time doing comedy. I am Director of The Hucksters (F&M's Sketch Comedy Troupe), Co-Founder/President of The Jesters (Stand Up Comedy Club), and I am a member of the school's Improv Troupe, The Rumspringas. You can also spot me repping the letters of Alpha Delta Pi, F&M's newest sorority on campus! If you have any questions or just need someone to brighten your day, feel free to contact me!

Hi! My name is Sarah Pollock. I’m a junior from Churchville, PA and a Biology major and English minor. When I am not attending Hillel events, I love dancing and also serve as a managing editor for Dispatch, F&M’s literary non-fiction magazine. I enjoy learning about Israel and its culture, so I am excited to serve as Israel Chair in the fall. I visited Israel for the first time one summer ago with several other students in Hillel through Birthright. It was an amazing experience and a great way to experience Israel from touring Tel Aviv to climbing Masada. I encourage other students to participate in Birthright and to contact me if they have any questions!
