Employment Opportunities

In the summer of 2009, Franklin & Marshall hired and trained twelve recent college graduates to become the NCAC's Keystone Region's second group of College Advisers. These twelve Advisers are currently working with seventeen school districts in the following counties: Bedford, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, and Lancaster.

NCAC will look to expand its program to serve more school districts by hiring additional Advisers on an annual basis. By the start of the 2010/2011 school year, NCAC hopes to have a total Corps of sixteen Advisers. This total will allow NCAC to serve up to twenty-eight high schools in rural Pennsylvania.

To be eligible for a KCAC College Adviser position, interested candidates must be graduates of one of the five partner institutes (Dickinson College, Franklin & Marshall College, Gettysburg College, Millersville University, and Shippensburg University).

These partner institutes are looking to open their program to other institutes of higher learning interested in becoming members.

The formal consideration of resumes for new Advisers will begin in February 2010. Please see F&M's Human Relations website for official job posting at  http://fandm.interviewexchange.com/jobofferdetails.jsp?JOBID=12670
