Franklin & Marshall College sustained minimal adverse effects from Hurricane Sandy and will resume all normal operations Wednesday, Oct. 31.


12:50 P.M. OCT. 29 UPDATE: F&M closed Monday and Tuesday for non-essential staff during Hurricane Sandy


Franklin & Marshall College has extended its closure to Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 29-30 because of severe weather expected from Hurricane Sandy. The College is closed except for critical and essential staff. All classes and scheduled activities have been cancelled and all administrative buildings will be closed Monday and Tuesday in an effort to ensure the safety and security of individuals on campus.

F&M Making Preparations for Severe Weather Related to Hurricane Sandy

Franklin & Marshall College officials are monitoring the progress of Hurricane Sandy as it travels up the East Coast. The College is taking precautionary measures to prepare for heavy winds and rain that currently are expected to affect the Lancaster area and F&M campus beginning late Sunday, Oct. 28.

'Vinegar Tom' Explores Fear, Poverty and Desire to Control the Uncontrollable

Audiences attending a play about witches opening Oct. 25 at Franklin & Marshall College might feel a particular resonance between its themes and the current political season. The Department of Theatre, Dance and Film will present "Vinegar Tom" Thursday, Oct. 25, through Sunday, Oct. 28, in the Roschel Performing Arts Center.
