Students arriving on Franklin & Marshall College's campus in late August will find a few changes, including a new place to grab a late-night meal.

The entire basement space under Marketplace Dining Hall has been renovated for Ben's Underground, a student-run eatery that stays open as late as 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and midnight Sunday, Monday and Thursday (It's closed Tuesday and Wednesday). The renovations include a new kitchen, an 80-inch LCD TV, soft-cushion seating, low-top and high-top tables, and booths.

Additionally, students will find Meyran Hall has been completely renovated. During the summer the College upgraded the building's heating and air conditioning system, the final part of a two-phase project that began two years ago with renovations to the building's exterior, including new windows.

Other changes include:

·      Three upgraded classrooms -- Room 200 in Keiper Liberal Arts, Room 104 in Kaufman Hall and Room 114 in Stager Hall -- featuring state-of-the art white boards and modern chairs to accommodate laptop users.

·      Renovated locker rooms in Mayser Physical Education Center

·      ZeBi, the café and coffee shop in Distler Hall, is now Zime

·      A repaved Williamson parking Lot

·      Restored stained-glass windows in Old Main's Nevin Chapel
