Diplomats Host NCAA Tournament

The Franklin & Marshall men’s basketball team earned its 20th NCAA Division III Tournament bid on Monday, March 2, and will host the first and second rounds of the tournament on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7.

The Diplomats (22-5) return to the 60-team tournament for the first time since the 2003-04 season. F&M received an at-large bid despite falling to Gettysburg (73-67) in the Centennial Conference Championship game on Sunday, March 1.

The Diplomats will face the Wesley College Wolverines (18-9) in the first round on Friday at 8 p.m. The other first-round game features Brandeis University (17-8) and Scranton University (21-6) at 6 p.m.

Friday’s winners will meet in the second round on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Daily admission is $6 for adults and $3 for students, senior citizens and children. Admission is free for children under 2.
