Double-Digit Lead in Pa.

With less than a week to go before the presidential election, it appears that Pennsylvania will choose Democratic Sen. Barack Obama, according to a new Franklin & Marshall College Poll of registered voters.

Obama leads Republican Sen. John McCain by 12 points, nearly double his lead in September’s poll. In the survey, taken between Oct. 21 and 26, Obama leads 51 percent to 39 percent.

The poll was conducted by the Center for Opinion Research at the Floyd Institute for Public Policy at Franklin & Marshall College.
