Alice Drum Award in Women's and Gender Studies

The Alice Drum Award in Women's and Gender Studies is named in honor of Alice Drum, past Vice President of the College and Director of the Women's and Gender Studies Program. Dr. Drum was also instrumental in the founding of the Franklin & Marshall College Women's Center, which is now named for her.

This award (for up to $2000) will support summer projects related to research, creative arts, or community and public service. Proposed projects must further the knowledge of the roles of women and/or gender in society; recipients must also show quality of character, personal and intellectual promise, and an enthusiasm for learning from the proposed experience.
