The Other Room (TOR)

The Other Room is a student-run multi-purpose space near campus,
on 715 N Pine St.

Stop by
during our open hours:
6-10pm Sundays-Friday
(other times available by reservation - see below)

All members of the F&M community are welcome to use the space.

Please note that you must have a FOB to gain access to the building (all students, faculty, and staff may request a FOB from F&O).

We ask that members of the Lancaster community outside F&M who wish to reserve the space set up a time to visit TOR by emailing us.

Formerly F&M's black-box theatre, "The Other Room Theatre" shut down for many years.

A student reincarnated the space in the spring of 2006 to make it more than a theatre.  It's now a place where students can relax, do homework when you're sick of campus (we have wireless!), hang out with friends, and come to or create your own events.

In the past two years, we have hosted, and continue to host:classes, concerts, coffeehouses, birthday parties, sleepovers, club meetings, Greek Life events, non-profit fundraisers, local theatre performances, movie screenings, and informal chair-spinning contests.

Never been to The Other Room?  We've got cool lighting, comfy couches, at least 15 board games, and an awesome movie screening facility for both DVDs and cassettes.
