- Participate in the Philadelphia Not-For-Profit Fair.
- Interview students at the Selective Liberal Arts Consortium (SLAC) Recruiting Days in December and January.
The Selective Liberal Arts Consortium (SLAC)
Franklin & Marshall College is a founding member of SLAC which consists of Bryn Mawr (PA), Carleton (MN), Claremont McKenna (CA), Colorado College (CO), Davidson (NC), Dickinson (PA), Franklin & Marshall (PA), Grinnell (IA), Haverford (PA), Kenyon (OH), Oberlin (OH), Pomona (CA), Vassar (NY), and Washington & Lee (VA). Every December and January, these fourteen colleges collectively organize recruiting events at central locations in Boston, Chicago, New York, and Washington DC.2009/2010 SLAC Recruiting Days
- Chicago: December 4, 2009
- Boston: January 6, 2010
- New York: January 7, 2010
- Washington DC: January 11, 2010
In addition to the Recruiting Days, the Consortium also hosts a Coast-to-Coast Virtual Fair in the spring.
For employers who are supervising a Franklin & Marshall student employed in an internship-for-credit:
Thank you for providing our students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in your organization. Before the end of his/her internship, your student(s) should ask you to complete an evaluation form. This form will then be submitted by the student to his/her faculty sponsor, who will take it into consideration when deciding whether to award the student a Pass grade. Please complete the following form and discuss it with your student(s):
