Get Involved!
As Franklin & Marshall alumni, you work in incredibly diverse industries around the world. We appreciate your engagement with Career Services!
There are a variety of ways you can help:
Speak with Current Students and Alumni
Students and alumni want to learn more about your experiences in different industries and they appreciate your advice tremendously. You can speak with them on the phone, through email, or in person. By logging onto FandMConnect and updating your profile, students will be encouraged to reach out to you for advice and information about your career.
Be a Career Services Partner
Serve as part of our Career Network and we will refer students to you directly if they want to learn more about your career field.
Participate in Career Forums & Other On-Campus Events
Each year, our office presents a number of programs including Career Days, industry-specific panels, networking receptions, and more. Alumni presence greatly enhances these events--we would love to see you there!
Job and Internship Postings
Are you or your employer hiring interns or full-time employees? You can post job and internship opportunities in FandMConnect directly or we can help you. FandMConnect contains listings that can only be viewed by current students and other alumni.
On-Campus Recruiting
We invite you to come back to campus for a visit campus and to host informational meetings for your organization, hold interviews for open positions, or both.
Selective Liberal Arts Consortium
As a founding member of SLAC, we are proud of the role F&M has played in this valuable organization. The consortium consists of 14 small liberal arts colleges whose goal is to connect liberal arts students with great potential employers through a series of Interview Days in cities across the United States. Interview Days are held November through January annually and provide employers with access to top students from 14 different schools all in one place.
