Poor Richards

Poor Richards

Purpose: Provide a co-ed a cappella singing opportunity at F&M.

Goals: Sing, go on tour, and record a CD with a great group!

The Poor Richards are Franklin & Marshall's oldest and only co-ed a cappella group.  Founded in 1968, our group is named after Ben Franklin's The Poor Richards Almanack.

We perform contemporary popular music without instruments or sheet music.  We are entirely student run and all of our music is self-arranged and taught by our directors and the talented musicians in our group.
