Spend quality time with the elderly in nursing homes. Chat, play games, hear their life stories, knit, or sing songs with them. They are like your grandparents: except more fun!!
Working with the elderly gives you an opportunity to volunteer at a variety of sites in the Lancaster Community. Put a puzzle together, play cards or games, take a walk, listen to and learn from someone's life-long experiences, have fun, the options are endless!

Help those less fortunate in Lancaster by volunteering in a homeless shelter serving food, at a food bank collecting donations, or at a transitional home providing childcare for working families. Help fight poverty inthe community and volunteer today. One time and long-term opportunities are available.

There are many homeless families in Lancaster and many opportunities to serve such as: volunteering at shelters, serving at local soup kitchens, participating in food drives, collecting clothing and supply donations of household items.

There are many opportunities to make a difference in the life of a child! There are plenty of options! Both elementary and middle-school aged children need help. You can tutor an individual child, lead group activities, tutor in a specific subject and help with general homework. Choose a day and time that fits YOUR schedule!
Work with students in the School District of Lancaster's elementary and middle schools, as well as with after school programs. Get involved with a variety of activities including reading, arts and crafts and helping with homework.

Lancaster needs volunteers to help the disadvantaged recieve quality and affordable health services. Public health focuses on volunteer opportunities with various health-related community organizations. We also organize campus blood drives and other health-related donor drives.
