High School Teacher Opportunities

Information Session at IU-13 on Tuesday, December 8 from 4:30-6:00 PM.  Sign up!

The Summer 2010 Application deadline is 2/1/10.

Local high school biology and computer science teachers have two bioinformatics professional development opportunities at Franklin & Marshall College.

Each summer, a week-long professional development seminar will provide high school computer science and biology teachers with hands-on, inquiry-based activities and classroom-ready materials.

A research fellowship program for two teachers each summer also offers the unique chance to work one-on-one with an F&M faculty member. The opportunity to do research will help teachers better meet state and national standards in science education, which increasingly emphasize scientific process and inquiry-based research.
