The campus was alive over Reunion Weekend, June 5-7, as nearly 1,000 alumni, their family and friends came together to share stories and laughter, and relive the time they spent at Franklin & Marshall. From the somber reflection of Friday's Memorial Service to the transformation of Hartman Green into an upbeat Hartman Island on Saturday night, the weekend offered returning alumni with an opportunity to reconnect with the College and one another.

The Class of 1959 brought back the largest number of classmates and was inducted into the Nevonian Society on Friday afternoon. The Parade of Classes got things going on Saturday as the assembled alumni wound their way to the Barshinger Center for the Musical Arts for the Alumni Celebration.

The Celebration featured the reading of class histories, the presentation of reunion giving checks, remarks from President John Fry and the awarding of the Alumni Citation to Alan I. Leshner '65, D.Sc. '99, P'99 and the late Ronald W. Noll '51, whose award was accepted by his widow, Sara-Ann Noll. Alan Ingraham '72 was presented with the Alumni Medal.

The returning classes enjoyed a festive Saturday evening, beginning with their class dinners and concluding with a rocking time on the Green.

Thank you to all those returning for Reunion 2009. It was a great weekend because you made it so!
