Become a professional problem-solver
Engineers are, quite literally, the problem-solvers of the world. Every day they find new and inventive ways to apply science and scientific breakthroughs to commerce and industry. Virtually everything you use on a daily basis-from setting your alarm clock, to turning on a light, to starting your car-operates smoothly due to the work of an engineer.
Franklin & Marshall offers a 3/2 Engineering program in cooperation with the nation's finest academic and scientific institutions, such as Case Western Reserve University, Columbia University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Penn State University, Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and Washington University in St. Louis.
After completing three years of study at Franklin & Marshall in physics, math, and chemistry, you can finish the program by completing two more years at one of these engineering schools that has joined with F&M in this offering.
As a result, you earn two bachelor's degrees in a total of five years: a Bachelor of Arts degree in whatever academic area you choose, as well as a Bachelor of Science in engineering.
With these two degrees, you can choose from a broad range of career paths, and you also become a strong candidate for admission to top graduate programs. Recent graduates of the program have been accepted into graduate programs at Lehigh University, MIT, Princeton University, the University of Delaware, Johns Hopkins University, and Stanford University.
