Facilities

The physics and astronomy department maintains state-of-the-art research and teaching facilities, as well as comfortably furnished spaces for our students and majors. Most of these are in the Hackman Physical Sciences Building.

Our facilities include:

• National Undergraduate Research Observatory (NURO)

• Grundy Observatory (and Public Observing)
• North Museum Planetarium
• Telescope Deck and Imaging Lab
