F&M RESOURCE:

F&M's 24-hour Sexual Assault Response Line: 560-7311

All calls are confidential and connect you with a F&M health professional who will answer your questions, help you explore your options, and support you get the help you decide on. Calling this line does not obligate you to any further action. You are in control of deciding what you want to do.

COMMUNITY RESOURCE:

YWCA Sexual Assault Prevention and Counseling Center 24-Hour Hotline: 392-7273

This community resource provides free and confidential supportive counseling, assessment and referrals for victims of sexual assault/abuse. Trained staff and volunteers are available 24 hours a day.

F&M's "A Guide to Surviving Sexual Assault and Rape" is available in The Women's Center and online.

CAMPUS GROUP - SAVE...

There is also a group on campus dedicated to combating sexual assault:

Sexual Assault Violence Education (SAVE), contact Kim Greenfield, Chelsea Schein, or Adriana Lara.

R.A.D (rape aggression defense)...

Each semester Franklin and Marshall offers defense courses for women only, which instruct them on vital tactics that can be used in rape/ assault situations. The program is carried out by R.A.D. Certified Campus Safety Officers. Call x3939 for more information.
