Writers House Community

You can sink into these couches for one of our weekly readings. 

They could be the seat of inspiration during a creative writing class. 

You might find them comfortable and supportive enough to read your own work on them.

You can eat on them, on us, when we all get together to plan our programs and projects.

The couches in the Writers House Reading Room are often the gathering place for our Community -- students, faculty, alumni, and Lancaster neighbors -- for events, House traditions, monthly meetings and to share reading- and writing-related resources. The approximately 300 of us also convene on our virtual couches:  the WHCommune listserv and the new Writers House Ning site.  So please, sit down with us.

Please join us for our first Writers House Community Meeting for the fall 2009 semester: Wednesday, September 9th, at 4:30 PM.  First time attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend. As always, free food will be served.
