Facilities

The Psychology Department at F&M offers students many opportunities to engage in research:

We have facilities where students can assist faculty with research in primate behavior, artificial intelligence, the development of communication and language in infants, perceptual problems in night driving, and the nature of interpersonal relationships.

As students develop skills and experience, they may undertake their own research projects, personalized to specific areas of interest.

This $42 Million state-of-the-art research and teaching facility brings the Departments of Biology, Psychology, and Philosophy, as well as our interdisciplinary programs, the Biological Foundations of Behavior Program and the Scientific and Philosophical Studies of Mind Program, under one roof.  The vitality of these five departments and programs and the interdisciplinary relationships among their faculty and students will infuse this building with an unparalleled energy and excitement that is sure to attract national attention.
