Franklin & Marshall College's Bike Loan Program starts Feb. 28. Students may borrow one of 30 F&M cruiser bicycles for a period of four weeks. At the end of the four weeks, students must return the bike and helmet. Students are permitted to renew their loans for an additional four weeks, as long as the bike is good condition and there isn't a waiting list for rentals.

To check if a bike is available, visit the Shadek-Fackenthal Library's catalogue search engine and type "bike." Bikes are tracked through the library's book loan system.

The checkout and return station for the bikes is in the basement of Weis College House. The entrance is at the back of the College House. Bike program hours are Monday from noon to 3 p.m., Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m., and Friday from noon to 4 p.m.

Students must show their college ID, provide emergency contact information, agree to pay for lost, stolen or damaged bikes, and sign a waiver in order to participate.
