About the Presenter

Mark Pontz, Publisher of Fine Living Lancaster, a quarterly, regional lifestyle magazine he created in 2007, is a Lancaster county native and serial entrepeneur. Having been in private mortgage lending since 1994, he has serviced literally thousands of satisfied clients. Not your typical left brained thinker and never satisfied with downtime, Mark launched the charity CD series "A Lancaster Christmas" in 2003, featuring regional musicians performing holiday selections and sold to benefit local charities. Expanded to jazz and musical theater projects, these CD's to date have generated over ten thousand dollars in donations to local charities. In 2007, Mark founded Fine Living Lancaster magazine to fill what he thought was a void in the exposure of the "coolness" of Lancaster.  The magazine has since become a cultural "must read" not only in Lancaster but in other countries as well. While continuing his full dedication to the needs of his mortgage clients, he has managed to expand the Fine Living Lancaster influence to include a film festival and several charitable initiatives. Mark is often asked to speak to interested individuals and groups about "all things fine living in Lancaster".  When asked to describe him self in one word, Mark answers simply; "Insomniac."
