Alumni Master Class: Christy Batta ?09, "The Beauty of Community"

July 28 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Virtual Event

Christy Batta ’09 is a graphic designer and hand letterer living with multiple sclerosis (MS). In her design business, her mission is to help nonprofits and do-gooder businesses make the right impressions on the right people through design. In addition to her design business, Christy makes hand lettering about her chronic illness experience through Human + Kind Co. Lettering.

Christy is passionate about community and sharing how local and online communities have helped her, both personally and professionally. No creative really does it all alone! In this Alumni Master Class, hear about the role community plays in Christy's business and other design projects, including the Unofficial Hand Lettering Society of Silver Spring (Maryland), a local hand lettering club that she cofounded. Christy will also talk about how she uses hand lettering to connect with other folks living with chronic illness.

Join Christy and other members of the F&Mily to hear more about her work, passions, and service to her community.

Webinar link and login instructions will be sent to all registrants prior to the program.

Register online by Monday, July 26.
