Clubs & Organizations
Whatever you’re interested in or curious about, you can explore it at F&M. With 110 clubs and organizations on campus — and new ones being formed by your peers every year — you can dive deep into your favorite topics, test out new activities, and enjoy opportunities for fun and learning.
Athletics & Recreation
Athletics at F&M is more than football games and a good way to work up a healthy sweat. With club sports, intramural sports, and terrific facilities for informal recreation, we see athletics as a big part of an integrated education, providing important lessons in leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance.
Fraternities & Sororities
Dating back to 1854, F&M's fraternity and sorority communities have a long-standing legacy of developing students holistically, building leadership, service, scholarship, and integrity, and fostering lifelong friendships and generational affinities. You can join a fraternity or sorority beginning your second semester of your first year on campus.
First-Year College Houses
F&M first-year College Houses blend the everyday joys of residential living with academic discovery. You’ll live in your College House during your first year and discover that it’s not just a place to hang out, sleep, and study, but a place to make lifelong friends forged from movie and game nights, impromptu problem-solving sessions, workshops and guest lectures, bagel breakfasts, and so much more.
Civic Engagement
Find opportunities to learn, serve, and work in the Lancaster Community through F&M’s Ware Institute for Civic Engagement. By working directly with local leaders to address community challenges, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of societal issues, make a positive impact on your community, and gain important interpersonal and professional skills.
Faith & Meaning
F&M's is a rich tapestry of religious communities. If you’re a student of faith seeking spiritual fulfillment and fellowship, or if you are on a faith journey, you will find many opportunities at F&M, where the various religious groups on campus are open to everyone.

Diplomats’ Women’s Golf Team Partners With Lancaster Country Club
Franklin & Marshall College and the Lancaster Country Club have entered into an agreement that will allow the Diplomats’ Women’s Golf Team to practice and host multiple Centennial Conference tournaments throughout the season.

Ken Mehlman ’88 Makes Historic $7.5 Million Gift to Power F&M Athletics and Wellness
A new $7.5 million gift from Ken Mehlman ’88, Franklin & Marshall College Trustee and Board Vice Chair, is the College’s largest gift in support of athletics and wellness. It will be used to begin construction of the Mehlman Center for Strength, Conditioning, Wellness and Performance, an innovative new facility that will be home to strength training, fitness and performance-centered growth.

A Custom Blueprint for an Architectural Future
Alex Scarboro ’26 is following his own blueprint for a career in architecture. The senior designed a custom major in studio art and business, organizations, and society. “My decision to combine the two disciplines was rooted in my innate love for architecture and art,” Scarboro said.
