Why did you choose to attend F&M?

I chose to attend F&M for the opportunity to form relationships with professors and explore various academic pursuits to learn about my passions. I wanted to play volleyball at a selective liberal arts college with strong academics and explore a different part of the United States, and though it may sound cliché, when I visited F&M, it felt like home.

What is something that you did for fun at F&M?

Playing volleyball at F&M was an incredibly fun and rewarding experience. I will greatly miss my teammates, coaches, and the sport of volleyball.

What did you enjoy most about your time at the College?

The thing that I enjoyed most about my time at F&M was the people. My fellow students, teammates, friends, professors, coaches, and everyone else that I have had the pleasure to meet at F&M have made my experience what it was. I am so grateful for the opportunity to form relationships with so many different people and learn from and with them at F&M.

What are your plans for after graduation?

After graduation, I will be starting a career in business with an information services company in New York City.

What brief advice would you give to incoming students in F&M’s Class of 2028?

I would tell incoming students that college is stressful and overwhelming at times, but above all, it is fun. It is a place to meet people and learn about yourself, so take advantage of the opportunities with which you are provided at F&M and don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
