The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Franklin & Marshall College has primary responsibility in Franklin & Marshall's advancement program for the College's associations with corporate and foundation institutional grant-makers.
CFR identifies, cultivates, and solicits foundations and corporations for capital and term support of the College's priority needs, including scholarships, faculty chairs, equipment, facilities, endowment, and programs.
Through CFR, Franklin & Marshall's faculty and administrators are able to tap into a variety of resources that can bolster their efforts to attract funding. These resources include assistance with research to identify potential funding sources, guidance in the planning and coordination of approaches to funders, support as grant proposals are prepared, oversight of reports to funders, and on-going efforts to keep the College in close touch with higher-education philanthropy.
