Downtown Lancaster is a hub of culture and arts filled with art galleries, historical buildings and hot nightspots. And it's all within walking distance of campus.

In the heart of the city is Central Market, the oldest continuously operating farmers market in the United States. Walking out of Central Market, you can step right into today's fashions in one of Market Alley's shops or boutiques.

On the First Friday of every month Downtown Lancaster is abuzz with gallery openings. First Fridays are a great time to experience downtown Lancaster. Join thousands who enjoy the evening's artistic energy. Some 90 art galleries, shops and restaurants extend their hours for the evening.

Just off campus is Clipper Magazine Stadium, home of the Lancaster Barnstormers, the city's own baseball team.

Up for something more refined? Built in 1852, the Fulton Opera House is the nation's oldest continuously operating theater and only one of eight to be named a National Historic Landmark. It's also the home of the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra.
