WELCOME CLASS OF 1988 TO YOUR 25th REUNION
Mark your calendars for June 7-9, 2013, for our best reunion ever! There are so many reasons to come back to campus, but here are the top 25:
25-Order Domino’s pizza late night.
24-Sit on the stairs of the Shadek-Fackenthal Library and look for your friends or go inside and take a nap.
23-Go to the farmers market and show your family where “Breaking Amish” originated and buy some Shoo-fly Pie, apple butter and whoopee pies to bring home.
22-Walk to Turkey Hill, take in the smell of Lancaster air and eat a microwaved entrée.
21-Go to Hildys, eat a red pickled egg and order a beer legally and wish that you were carded.
20-Find out what was really in the garbage pail of Blue Whales.
19-Do the cup dance with friends.
18-Get an original, American made, F &M t-shirt.
17-Show your family the “new building” Stahr Hall.
16-Get nachos at Dip Co. or a sandwich at Isaacs.
15-Catch up with alumni at Ben’s Underground.
14-Find the payphone in your first dorm and explain to your children what it is.
13-Act like a “DIP.”
12-Relive Spring Arts, but maybe don’t share those memories with your family.
11-Hang out (procrastinate) on Hartman Green in flip flops and shorts.
10-Find out what happened to George and Martha (water towers).
9-Connect with friends at the Common Ground.
8-Listen to “Faith” by George Michael and “Get Outta MY Dreams, Get Into my Car” by Billy Ocean along with everyone else’s music blaring on the quad.
7-See if those “hot” professors still look good.
6-Count how many new buildings have been built since we have been gone and try to figure out who they are actually named after.
5-See if Vegan, Gluten-Free or Nut-Free options are available in the dining hall.
4-Celebrate that Fraternities and Sororities still exist and are thriving.
3-Visit your first dorm and marvel that you spent an entire year living there, but also made some of the best friends in your life.
2-Show your family why 1984-1988 was the best four years of your life and encourage your children to become Fummers.
1-Relive old memories, make new memories, contribute to our class gift and help keep F&M the great institution it was 25 years ago and is today.
