On June 6-8, 2014, we will be celebrating our 20th year reunion from F&M. If you are like those on the Reunion Committee, you’re probably wondering how it is possible that we’ve been out of college for twenty years?! Does that mean Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam have entered the genre of classic rock?
While that question may be up for debate, there is no disputing the fact that there is no shortage of cool people in the F&M Class of 1994, and it’s time to bring all that coolness back together. The Reunion Committee is working diligently with F&M to ensure our 20th reunion is one for the ages. And, at our age, that can take on a variety of meanings.
Please mark June 6-8 down on your calendar and make the trip to Lancaster to relive the glory days of being an undergrad at one of the nation’s finest liberal arts institutions. Franklin & Marshall and the city of Lancaster have undergone many positive changes in the last twenty years, and even in the past five years. We strongly encourage you to come on back and reconnect with your F&M Family. Based on the schedule of events, it will be an action-packed weekend filled with activities for those bringing their families or coming solo. The trip will be worth your while!
Even if making it to Lancaster is not possible, please consider making a gift to Dear Old F&M by clicking here. Several members of the Class of 1994 have already responded with incredible generosity and enthusiasm. We have great expectations for meeting our goals of 40% participation and $75,000 for the F&M Fund. To inspire our classmates, Keir Joyce and Joy Napier-Joyce will make a gift of $19.94 for every '94 alum who makes a gift between now and June 30 (and has not made a gift yet this year). When we achieve our 40% goal, Keir and Joy will make a $1,994 gift! The suggested amount is $94; however, gifts come in all shapes and sizes, and no amount is too small (or too big). What we ask is for you to give an amount that has significant meaning to you and your experience at F&M.
Please visit this page and the Class of 1994 Facebook page (link provided on the left of this page) for updates regarding Reunion Weekend. If you have any questions, concerns or ideas on how to make the weekend as cool as possible, feel free to contact one of the members of the Reunion Committee. We hope to see you in Lancaster June 6-8!
