Greetings from the Class of 1999 Reunion Committee. It’s hard to believe that it has been 15 years since our graduation from F&M. Our years at F&M were a special period in our lives, one which we will always remember and cherish. Along the way, we established friendships and relationships that will last a lifetime. We all can appreciate the value of our experience and the importance of the education received from our alma mater. Dick Kneedler was President when we convened on campus seeking inspiration and knowledge, but the college continues to grow and thrive under the leadership of Daniel Porterfield. We invite you to join us on campus from June 6 - 8, 2014 to reconnect with friends, visit old haunts and see first-hand the changes that keep F&M an educational force in the 21st century.
The number of us that make this sentimental journey, many from great distances, is phenomenal and it speaks reams about the F&M experience. In our exchanges, encounters and academic sessions over the reunion weekend, we will certainly derive a fresh sense of what F&M means to us. As we renew ties, we will discover that F&M has continued to excel. Not only has the campus footprint grown, but F&M more than ever represents an open and diverse learning environment with a commitment to the highest quality of teaching and research and the development of future community leaders. F&M continues to offer a strong international network of alumni and professionals providing a gateway to amazing and challenging academic opportunities.
To that end, as alumni, we have the strongest vested interest in our alma mater. We represent the vitality and future of the F&M community. Alumni achievements bring praise to the school, and our commitment and continued support are among F&M’s most treasured assets.
Our Reunion Committee is planning a weekend filled with opportunities to re-connect and celebrate this auspicious occasion and to give back to the source that helped us launch our endeavors and successes. So mark your calendars accordingly as we prepare to celebrate our 15-year reunion.
