Welcome, Class of 2009!

On June 6-8th we will be celebrating five years since graduating from dear old F&M. Not only have we all moved on to great new things since leaving campus, but there’s been a lot of changes at F&M since we departed, most of them, for the better.

Campus, like Lancaster, boasts many new buildings and stores that are all worth visiting. In fact, our class will take up residence in the New College House for reunion weekend. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is quite a step up from our first-year housing (almost a decade ago!).

So pull out your yearbooks, dust off your F&M clothes (not the Italian knock-off apparel), and get ready to reminisce about all the fun times we had while at F&M. Whether it was watching our women’s lacrosse team win the national championship (twice!), taking a date to Pandini’s (R.I.P.), or hanging out at Fat Tuesday’s in Myrtle Beach, there are a lot of memories worth re-visiting. Keep checking this page or find our class page on Facebook for more updates throughout the next several months.

The number of us that make this sentimental journey, many from great distances, will speak volumes about the F&M experience. In our exchanges, encounters and academic sessions over the reunion weekend, we will derive a fresh sense of what F&M means to each of us.

As you plan, please also start thinking about what you might be able to contribute toward our class gift. This is always a touchy subject, but F&M would benefit from any donation amount whatsoever. Even $10 (that’s less than two pitchers at Hildy’s) is better than nothing at all. Our reunion year is a great time for us to think about the investment we can make in the future of our college and in the lives of the students who are there creating their own memories.

So, please consider joining us in June. We will make sure it’s more fun than our senior night at the Harley Davidson factory. If you are interested in helping plan our Reunion or make outreach phone calls contact Molly Briere and Andy Duberstein.

We hope so see you back on campus in June!
