What shows your pride wherever you drive, is more permanent than a bumper sticker, and has more visibility than a window decal? A Franklin & Marshall College license plate. The Office of Alumni Programs is offering, through the Maryland Motor Vehicles Administration (MVA), a Franklin & Marshall College Maryland auto license plate.
If you are the registered owner of a vehicle in Maryland, have a Maryland driver’s license, and are a current student, alumnus or alumna, parent, friend, or staff member of F&M, then you can now apply for a Franklin & Marshall plate. (It doesn’t matter where you are in your registration cycle). As you can see, the Franklin & Marshall name appears across the bottom of the plate and Ben Franklin and John Marshall appear on the left side of the plate.
We have received the sample F&M license plate (pictured above) from the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA). The next step is for the Alumni & Parent Relations office to submit 25 signed and paid applications to kick off this program. We just need 4 more signed and paid applications to make it official. So, we are asking all interested F&M friends to get in touch with us as soon as possible about this exciting opportunity.
Please contact us by September 24 if you are interested in this new program. You can email Pat Fossler in the Alumni & Parent Relations office at , or you can call her at 866-925-5500. Pat will send you the application and answer any questions you might have about the program. Fee with application is $25 per plate.
