Image Archive Notice
In July, the Department of Art and Art History contacted over 600 F&M Art and Art History alumni with an invitation to submit images of their artworks for the department's Art Alumni Data Bank and Image Archive. Through email and snail mail we alerted alumni that we plan to expand and digitize the data bank, which was begun in 1996.
We further announced plans to curate the images submitted for an F&M Art Alumni Exhibition, scheduled for fall 2012, in the recently renovated Phillips Museum of Art. This will be only the second alumni show ever held at F&M, the first having occurred in 1997.
The submission deadline is Tuesday, November 15, 2011. We're very much hoping as many art alumni as possible will take this opportunity to reconnect with the Art and Art History Department and with each other.
