Mark T. Harmon-Vaught '15

A native of Louisville, KY, Mark Harmon-Vaught is a junior pursing a Government major with a pre-law focus, and an Hispanic Cultures minor. Now in his third year on the Brooks House Congress, Mark also represents the House in the Junto Society and has served as an Orientation Planning Director. Outside of Brooks, Mark leads One in Four, F&M's sexual assault prevention and bystander intervention program. He also combines his passion for law and interest in the immigration system in his work with The Accessible Immigration Database Project, creating an online resource for attorneys in US asylum cases. He is a Rouse Scholar, Dana Scholar, Harwood Scholar, Satell Scholar, and a Thomas Gilmore Apple Award recipient.

Global Goals for Brooks House

1. Expand the Brooks House community presence through interhouse cooperation, community outreach, alumni networking, and public relations.

2. Energize the intellectual life of the House through close work with the House Don, greater faculty integration, and academic programming.

3. Establish and enhance lasting House Traditions from Orientation programs through Commencement to build House pride and unity.
