Sister Maruca Cypriano Lancerio, founder of "The Women's Project" in Guatemala, will discuss "After the Violence in Guatemala: Women's Cooperatives as Sowers of Hope" on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. in Franklin & Marshall's Stahr Auditorium, Stager Hall. The talk, sponsored by the Center for Liberal Arts & Society, the Ware Institute and the Economics Department, is free and open to the public. Sr. Maruca Cypriano Lancerio is a Mayan woman and member of the Sisters of the Holy Family, a Catholic community of women in Guatemala.
